OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM Our Management Team consists of Terry Ryan, Managing Broker and REALTOR®; Heather Brown Colbert, Property Manager, Office Manager, REALTOR®, and Notary Public; David Edmonds, Office Manager, Property Manager, and REALTOR®; Michael Copeland, REALTOR®, and Katie Boyle, Office Administrator.
Terry Ryan – Managing Broker – REALTOR® Terry holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Rivier College. Terry has an extensive background in financial management, marketing, contract law, contracting and space planning. As a licensed Real Estate Broker, Terry is an active member of the Granite State South Board of REALTORS® serving as Board Treasurer and a member of the Education and Strategic Planning Committees. Terry is also a member of the Commercial Investment Board of REALTORS®, the Greater Derry-Londonderry Chamber of Commerce, and serves on the Finance Committee of the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS®. Terry was the recipient of the 2008 GSSBR President’s Award. In 2012, Terry Ryan was awarded REALTOR® of the Year from the Granite State South Board of REALTORS®. Heather Colbert – Property Manager – Rental Agent – Notary Public – REALTOR® Heather has both a Bachelor’s of Science in Accountancy and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Computer Information Systems from Bentley University, and over 20 years of experience in international accounting, financial management, and small business computer systems. Heather started at Pater Real Estate Management Co., Inc. in the Spring of 1997. In addition to listing and showing rental properties, she functions as the website manager and MLS head administrator. She oversees office procedures to stay abreast of the changing real estate market and regulations. As director of the Granite State South Board of REALTORS®, Heather is a member of the Diversity, Professional Standards, RPAC, Nominations, and Community Service committees. She is also a Notary Public and past member of the Windham Service Team of Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains, including town-wide cookie manager. Michael Copeland – Rental Agent – REALTOR® Michael has been a Real Estate agent since 1994. While attending Ohio State University, he majored in Business Administration. In addition to his involvement in real estate and retail, Michael has an eclectic background including marketing, designing fabrics and wall coverings, and writing poetry. A published poet and award winning photographer, he is currently compiling an anthology of his works. Michael joined the Pater Real Estate team in November 2013. Licensed NH Real Estate Salesperson #040037.
David Edmonds – Office Manager – Condominium Manager – Rental Agent – REALTOR® David received his BA from Eastern Nazarene College, majoring in Music Theory and Business, and went on to study Management in graduate school. Before coming to Pater in November 2013, David earned experience in emergency response and maintenance as the Operations Manager for ENC’s Safety and Security Department. He is our liaison between owners and tenants for routine maintenance and emergency issues. David is an effective communicator and keeps the property owners informed regarding property maintenance concerns. A recently licensed agent and REALTOR®, David meets with prospective tenants and shows properties. He is also the main contact for managed condominium association. OUR ACCOUNTING TEAM Our Accounting Team consists of Susan Hewson and Donnamaria Harrington. Together they process all receivable and payables of our managed accounts and maintain the owner and tenant database through Rent Manager software. Our database allows both owners and tenants to login into the portal to access their accounts.
Susan Hewson – Staff Accountant Susan graduated Summa Cum Laude from Hesser College with a degree in Paralegalism; she also has an associate degree in Computer Science. She previously worked for Pater Real Estate and returned in November of 2013 as a member of the Accounting Team. She has worked several years in the finance industry and has extensive background in full-charge bookkeeping and QuickBooks. Sue processes rents and condominium fees and is the main contact for owners and tenants of our managed accounts.
Donnamaria Harrington – Bookkeeper Donna has extensive experience in full-charge bookkeeping, specializing in QuickBooks. She previously worked for Pater Real Estate for 10 years before relocating to California in 2012. We welcomed her return in May 2015 as a member of the Accounting Team. Donna is the first contact for payables and receivables.
OUR MAINTENANCE TEAM Our Maintenance Team consists of Mike DePalma, Maintenance Manager and Mallory Papp, our Maintenance Coordinator. Our reliable maintenance team handles small plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs, as well as, painting, cleaning and lawn maintenance services. We are able to prepare a rental unit for occupancy with minimal vacancy time and respond to maintenance issues 24/7 in a professional and timely way.
Pat Ryan – Maintenance Supervisor Pat has extensive experience in all areas of property maintenance including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Prior to joining Pater Real Estate Management Company, Pat worked 15 years in building construction for Continental Homes. He is able to handle small maintenance problems as well as large commercial suite construction.
Michael DePalma – Maintenance Manager Mike has 15 plus years’ experience in all aspects property management and maintenance and can handle small plumbing, electrical, carpentry repairs, painting and general property maintenance. Mike is an excellent communicator and keeps owners and tenants informed during maintenance repairs and projects. As a project manager, Mike has coordinated the renovation of a 280-unit condominium community in Hooksett and was able to bring the project to completion on time and on budget. Mike has had the added experience of serving on the Board of Directors for a local condominium association and has held the position as president of the association. Mike has an Associates Degree in Applied Science and is well versed in investor relations and landlord/tenant law. Mike’s interests include the renovation of antique cars
Mallory Papp – Maintenance Coordinator Mallory has prior experience working at the Home Depot Pro Desk and in this capacity, she has assisted contractors in scheduling and building projects. She also worked for a roofing company scheduling roof replacements and ordering materials for the various jobs. Mallory is extremely organized and efficient and as maintenance coordinator, she assists our owners in planning and executing their projects and repair work. She has a Bachelors’ Degree in Science and Biology from Western Connecticut State University. In her spare time, Mallory loves to craft and is especially interested in needlework and embroidery.
